Now you too can enjoy Jack Wilshere's bruschetta

Got a special someone in your life you’d like to impress? Why not make them Jack Wilshere’s Bruschetta?

The Arsenal midfielder has evidently been getting handy in the kitchen: he posted not only a picture of his dinner on Instagram – as is traditional, of course, but also the recipe.

Perhaps he’s angling for an appearance on Celebrity MasterChef during one of his many injury lay-offs.

If you think it looks appetising, here’s the recipe as posted by the England midfielder…

Jack’s Bruschetta

Ingredients:
-Garlic Bread (chilled & ready made)
-Aioli
-Grated Mozzarella
-Cherry Tomatoes
-Red Onions
-Italian seasoning
-Black Pepper
-Olive Oil
-Balsamic Glaze
-Parmesan Cheese

1. Lightly spread Aioli onto Garlic Bread.
2. Sprinkle Grated Mozzarella onto Garlic Bread.
3. Chop Cherry Tomatoes (8 pieces each cherry).
4. Finely dice Red Onions.
5. Mix Tomatoes, Red Onions in a large bowl adding a little Olive Oil, Italian seasoning & Black Pepper as required.
6. Spread Mix onto Garlic Bread.
7. Drizzle Balsamic Glaze over Bruschetta.
8. Sprinkle Parmesan on top.
9.Place in a pre heated oven @ 160degrees for 6-8min.
10. Eat & Enjoy!

It’s fair to say his team-mate Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain wasn’t sold though…
