New England Umbro home kit sparks fan row
Kit-makers Umbro also defended the February 29 launch - when both the senior and Under 21s side (against Belgium) will wear the kit on the same night - insisting the lack of games the strip was worn in was down to the fixture list.[LNB]A spokesperson said: 'The new kit is launched at the end of an 18-month cycle which the last few kits have all run for. [LNB]'The number of games for which the kit is worn is entirely down to the fixture list during the cycle.'[LNB]But the price of the shirt by retailers, meaning fans will have more choice where to buy it from and potentially at a cheaper cost than the recommended retail price.
