Nasri sure of Wenger stay
Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri believes that manager Arsene Wenger will honour his contract. Wenger, after a fourth trophyless season in a row, has come in for criticism of late, sparking uncertainty over his role at Emirates Stadium. Furthermore, the French coach was quoted as describing the prospect of working at Real Madrid under presidential candidate Florentino Perez as 'interesting' However, Nasri, who signed for the Gunners from Marseille last summer, is sure Wenger will at least see out the remaining two years of his current deal in North London. When asked if he would be tempted to leave Arsenal if Wenger was to depart in the summer, Nasri told football365.fr: "But him leaving is out of question! "Ask me the same question again in two years and I will tell you 'maybe'. But I understand that he has a two-year project and is trying hard to help Arsenal link up with their glorious past. "We will see what happens within two years. And we may speak about his future again." Of his first season at Arsenal, Nasri said: "Being at Arsenal is an achievement. I have reached the top level and am experiencing something extraordinary. "I am lucky to be managed by someone who trusts me and everything is good with my team-mates, who are top players. "I do not regret moving at all. I wanted to discover and live this football. At the age of 21 I did not want to leave for the sake of it, but because I knew that Arsenal had what is needed for me to feel good. "And a French manager helps you settle abroad, plus the players who speak the same language as you."
