Juventus midfielder Felipe Melo is still being coveted by Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger despite enduring an indifferent season in Italy.
The Brazil international shot to prominence last term playing for Fiorentina but has found the going tougher in Turin.
However, despite his recent struggles, the 26-year-old is still on Wenger's radar after he featured in Brazil's 2-0 friendly win against the Republic of Ireland at the Gunners' Emirates Stadium home on Tuesday evening.
Speaking to reporters, Wenger said: "We were interested in Melo last year. He has not had the season that everyone predicted he would.
"But we still think he is a very talented player. We are still looking at him."
