Marouane Chamakh could hold out for a move to Arsenal next summer rather than join West Ham before the close of the transfer window. The Hammers are waiting to hear back from Bordeaux after upping their bid to more than £5million plus add-ons for the Bordeaux striker. But the Morocco striker is concentrating of impressing for his current employers and admits he see out the final year of his contract despite agitating all summer for a move. Chamakh scored twice in Bordeaux's 3-2 win at Sochaux on Saturday to take his total to three in two French league games before saying his future was up in the air. 'I am still undecided,' he said. 'For now, the scales are tipping towards staying at Bordeaux.' Hammers boss Gianfranco Zola is keen on the 25-year-old as he searches for a new striker. Barcelona's former Chelsea forward Eidur Gudjohnsen is another option as is Luca Toni, the Bayern Munich striker linked to Upton Park earlier this month, who is also said to be on Roma's radar.
