Ousted: Wigan have sacked Marlon King following his conviction[LNB]Arsene Wenger believes Marlon King still has a future in football once he serves his prison sentence.[LNB]The 29-year-old striker has begun an 18-month jail term after being found guilty of sexual assault and actual bodily harm and he will have sign the Sex Offenders Register.   [LNB]It also emerged that King - who intends to appeal -had 13 previous convictions, including theft, assault and wounding, and he will be sacked by Wigan Athletic. [LNB]Wigan chairman Dave Whelan said he doubted King would be able toreturn as a  professional, but Arsenal boss Wenger said: 'I believethat you have justice and it's not my justice, it's the justice Englandhas decided to apply to any case.  [LNB]'When he has paid hissentence, of course you would consider it (signing King). That meansyou would never forgive anybody anything his whole life.  [LNB]'When he paid his sentence some clubs, if they want, they will take him.' [LNB]The Arsenal boss said he thought English football's drinking culturehad improved and said King's profession had nothing to do with thecrime he committed.[LNB] [LNB] Wenger said: 'That he is a football player or isn't a football player has nothing to do with what Marlon King did. He's an individual.[LNB]'People, of course, are very quick to generalise. It's an isolated incident and I don't want to interfere in that, but it has nothing to do with the job he does. A man is always more than just a job he does.' [LNB] [LNB]
