Mannone 'annoyed' by lack of action
Arsenal goalkeeper Vito Mannone is annoyed by his lack of chances at the club despite the poor form of Manuel Almunia and Lukasz Fabianski.[LNB] Mannone is third choice behind Almunia and Fabianski in the Arsenal ranks and is desperate for first-team football.[LNB]The 22-year-old, who is currently on international duty with Italy's Under-21 team, said in Gazzetta dello Sport: "I don't get regular playing time at Arsenal. I would consider a six-month loan deal just to play."[LNB]Mannone's long-term ambition, however, is still to break into Arsene Wenger's first team.[LNB]"I am happy in London," he said, according to the newspaper. "I love the Premier League.[LNB]"Last year I played nine games and with me, Arsenal never lost.[LNB]"They brought Almunia back (to the starting XI) and then Fabianski started in the game at Chelsea (last weekend).[LNB]"I get annoyed when I don't play, it's not as if the other two do that well.[LNB]"But if I've signed a contract extension until 2014 it is because they must value me."[LNB]Mannone joined Arsenal from Atalanta in the summer of 2005.
