Lehmann failed to concur with Arsene Wenger's decision to select Spaniard Almunia as his No 1, venting his fury at "sitting on the bench behind somebody who only started to play when he was 30". [LNB]Almunia equally made his feelings public knowledge. "To have someone here who hates me is just amazing. I know he hates me."[LNB]Lehmann part II v Oliver Kahn [LNB]Lehmann's long-running spat with his German compatriot was often the sub-plot ahead of many Germany internationals as they battled for the No 1 spot until Kahn's retirement two years ago. [LNB]Since retiring, Kahn could not let the matter lie and bad blood resurfaced when Almunia displaced Lehmann at Arsenal. "Instead of showing no style in having a go at his former colleagues, he should be thankful that he even has the chance to play for the national team when he is not playing for his club."[LNB]Emmanuel Adebayor v Nicklas Bendtner [LNB]Their on-pitch clash during Arsenal's Carling Cup contest against Tottenham in 2008 lifted the lid on their love-hate relationship. Since leaving for Manchester City, Adebayor has explained his reasoning for his dislike of the Dane . [LNB]"There was a rule at Arsenal where no one is allowed to come into the dressing room with trainers or house shoes on. I cannot understand why Nicklas came every day with his shoes on.'' [LNB]Eyal Berkovic v John Hartson[LNB]The two West Ham teammates came to blows in a training ground mismatch. Berkovic, at 5ft 7in and weighing 140 lbs, a welterweight in boxing terms, clashed with all 6ft 1 ins and 202lbs of Hartson - the equivalent of a David Haye heavyweight fighter. [LNB]After a heavy challenge from Hartson left Berkovic on the ground, the Israeli threw a light punch that caught his teammate on the leg. The Welshman duly responded in kind, kicking Berkovic in the face. "If my head had been a ball, it would have been in the top corner of the net," Berkovic said after the incident. [LNB]Craig Bellamy v John Arne Riise[LNB]Fiery Welshaman Bellamy was fined £8,000 by Liverpool for brandishing a golf club at teammate John Arne Riise in a drink fuelled late night bust-up during a five-day training camp in Portugal. Bellamy later made light of the incident with his golf-swing celebration after scoring Liverpool's leveller in their 2-1 win over Barcelona in 2007.
