No deal: United won't re-sign Beckham[LNB]Sir Alex Ferguson has ended David Beckham's hopes of a dramatic return to Manchester United because he believes the 35-year-old Old Trafford legend is too old. [LNB]Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has also ruled out a move for Beckham, who is looking to join a European club on loan from LA Galaxy to be fit for the start of the Major League Soccer season in March and in the hope of an England recall. [LNB]Beckham went out on loan to AC Milan for the last two winters and trained with Arsenal each time.[LNB] But the England midfielder has said he would find it hard to play for any Premier League club other than United. [LNB]Asked yesterday about re-signing Beckham, Ferguson said: 'I don'tthink so with David at his age. I've never signed a player as old asthat, have I?' [LNB] United actually signed Laurent Blanc at 35, while striker Henrik Larsson was 35 and goalkeeper Andy Goram 36 when they joined on loan. But Ferguson clearly feels age would be a big disadvantage in the wide midfield role Beckham would have to play. [LNB]Wenger said: 'Of course I would consider signing David Beckham but it's in an area where we do not need players.'[LNB]  Beckham loan deal hopes in doubt as Galaxy insist he's due back next monthAnd the winner of Worst Awards Show of the Year is...
