Manchester City set to seal £15m deal for Arsenal defender Toure

look set to succeed with the £15million capture of Arsenal

defender Kolo Toure, Sportsmail understands.

City have tried to sweeten the deal by offering Richard Dunne as part of a possible  player plus cash exchange but Gunners boss Arsene Wenger would prefer to look elsewhere for a centre-half.

Wenger will not sanction the deal until he finds a suitable replacement for his Ivory Coast defender as he badly needs cover at the back as Mikael Silvestre is out with a thigh injury.
