Steven Gerrard has pulled out of England's clash with Holland with a groin injury. The Liverpool skipper has not travelled to Amsterdam for Wednesday's friendly and will now concentrate on being ready for the start of the new Barclays Premier League season. Aston Villa's Ashley Young will replace Gerrard, who is the latest player to withdraw from Fabio Capello's squad after Ben Foster dropped out on Monday. 'It will be a good test for him,' said Capello on Young. He has only played twice for me but the last time he did very well. It will be a good test for him.' The Manchester United goalkeeper decided against taking part after picking up a slight knock in the Community Shield against Chelsea on Sunday. He was replaced by Joe Hart, who is on loan at Birmingham from Manchester City. Meanwhile, Arsenal winger Theo Walcott is unlikely to face Holland after his lack of action in pre-season.
