Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann has refused to concede the Gunners are out of the title race despite slipping 12 points off the pace after Saturday's 1-1 draw with Newcastle United.
The veteran Germany international is frustrated at the Gunners' failure to turn stalemates into victories, but is refusing to throw in the towel in the race for the Premiership title.
"We are always drawing and now see the others running away so, of course, that is frustrating," said Lehmann.
"It is difficult, but in football nothing is too far at this stage.
"They (Manchester United and Chelsea) play each other next week, so that could be a good chance for us to catch them up a little bit.
"We just have to look at the next game and now we have to work and improve - that is the key."
