Leeds skipper Howson joins England Under 21 squad with Pearce forced to ring the changes

England Under 21 manager Stuart Pearce has had to make a string of changes to his squad for this Tuesday's friendly with Italy following eight withdrawals. [LNB]Aston Villa loanee Kyle Walker pulled out to join the senior squad for their game with Denmark, while Manchester United's Chris Smalling, Manchester City's Micah Richards and Sunderland's Jordan Henderson have all picked up knocks.
