Juve admit interest in Traore

Juventus sporting director Beppe Marotta has confirmed that the Serie A giants hope to sign Arsenal full-back Armand Traore.[LNB] Sky Sports News reported on Sunday that the Italian outfit were set to swoop for the French defender.[LNB]Juve refused to make their intentions clear at that time, attempting to steer around the issue.[LNB]They have, however, now revealed that Traore is among those targets coach Luigi Del Neri hopes to have on board before Tuesday's transfer deadline.[LNB]"Yes, Traore is one of the players we are interested in," said sporting director Beppe Marotta.[LNB]"We will see what happens."[LNB]It is understood that Juve are looking to snap up Traore on a season-long loan deal.[LNB]Arsenal would prefer to bring in a fee for the 20-year-old, but cash-strapped Juve are in no position to make such a move at the moment.[LNB]They hope a loan agreement can be put in place, with the option to buy at the end of the 2010/11 campaign.
