Czech international Petr Cech is ready to push through a move across London from Chelsea to Premier League rivals Arsenal.

33-year-old Petr Cech has fallen out of favour at Chelsea with youngster Thibaut Courtois being preferred between the sticks for the majority of last seasons Premier League winning campaign.

Cech understands that Courtois' impressive performances have given Jose Mourinho a selection headache but feels that he is still able to perform at the highest level. The Champions League shot stopper has previously voiced his frustrations at being Chelsea's No.2 in an interview with the Idnes newspaper:

“I don't know what the club’s idea will be. It looks like it works well with me and Thibaut as a duo.

"But that can work for one season only. I don't want another one like this." Cech said.

Now, Goal.com have reported that Cech is ready to tell Chelsea he wants to leave for Arsenal, where he'll more than likely be the Gunners first choice keeper.

Manchester United have been linked with a move for the Champions League winning keeper, with David de Gea likely to join Real Madrid, but staying in London is of importance to Cech, with his family firmly settled into life in the Capital.
