Emmanuel Eboue claims he has put last season's nightmare campaign behind him and has pledged his long-term future to Arsenal. The 26-year-old has been linked with moves to Serie A side Fiorentina and European champions Barcelona after he suffered jeers and taunts from his own fans on several occasions. But after joining Eduardo and substitute Andrey Arshavin on the scoresheet in last night's 3-1 win over Celtic, Eboue revealed he would be happy to sign an extension to his current contract. 'The boss has given me some confidence, my friends helped me a lot and now I feel very well when I play,' said Eboue. 'Last season I wanted to give my best on the pitch, it was different but I have forgotten about that and this season I want to give my best. 'I'll wait [for a new contract] but if they want me to sign I will sign because I love this club.'
