Hodgson praise for unlucky Cottagers

Roy Hodgson felt his Fulham side gave a good account of themselves despite a 1-0 defeat against Arsenal at Craven Cottage.[LNB]Robin van Persie scored the only goal of the game after 52 minutes but it was the Gunners goalkeeper Vito Mannone who stood out making a string of fine saves.[LNB]For Hodgson, there was scant reward for all of his team's efforts.[LNB]"I did not think it was a bad performance from us. We defended well and attacked well against one of the Premier League's better teams.[LNB]"We have now played four of last season's top five and can only hope there are other teams out there who we can beat more easily.[LNB]"The result of the game is that Arsenal won. Now we can say we were unlucky, but it's still a defeat for us and we have lost four of our last five games."
