The Norway centre-back has been linked with the Gunners after helping Fulham finish in an impressive seventh position in the Premier League last season. But Hodgson maintained throughout the summer that he did not want to sell Hangeland, who is highly valued at Craven Cottage. And the Fulham boss remains adamant he has not been approached regarding the 28-year-old. "He is happy here," Hodgson told Sky Sports News. "There has been speculation, and furthermore a lot of the speculation I have been able to quash. "But it doesn't stop the speculation getting around. "But we have had no offers for Brede Hangeland. No club is showing signs of wanting to take him from us and we are very happy about that. "I don't think that is because clubs don't think he is any good, quite the opposite. "We know his value and at the moment I presume clubs are accepting that he is not for sale at the prices they would be prepared to pay." Fulham 4/9, Draw 5/2, FC Amkar 6/1
