Hleb: Cesc will rejoin Barca

Former Arsenal midfielder Alex Hleb believes Cesc Fabregas will rejoin former club Barcelona at some point in his career.

Hleb left the Emirates Stadium for the Catalan club last week in an £11.8million deal following a protracted transfer saga which rumbled on throughout the summer.

But the Belarus international is risking the wrath of Gunners boss Arsene Wenger after tipping his former midfield colleague Fabregas to make the move back to the Camp Nou.

Fabregas, 21, came through the youth ranks at Barca before leaving to join Arsenal as a teenager in 2003.

"He loves this club, and although he's at Arsenal, who knows, maybe one day he'll come back here," claimed Hleb.

Meanwhile, Hleb is looking forward to renewing acquaintances with former Arsenal captain and now Barcelona striker Thierry Henry.

"He's my mate. We spent two years together," he added.

"We understand each other and I'm real pleased to be back with him."
