Gunners welcome back trio
10 Mar 2009 - 12:48:59
Arsenal will welcome back a trio of players for Wednesday's Champions League last 16 trip to Italy to face AS Roma.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Kolo Toure is available to start at the Stadio Olimpico after missing the 3-0 FA Cup fifth-round win at Burnley on Sunday with a calf strain.
Samir Nasri and Denilson are also back in contention for the tie which Wenger's side lead 1-0 following the first leg at the Emirates Stadium two weeks ago.
However, fit-again Mikael Silvestre will not make his first appearance in five weeks as the veteran France defender has not made the trip.
"From Sunday, we have no new injuries," Wenger told the club's official website. "Kolo Toure should come back into the squad and should be fit to start.
"Samir Nasri and Denilson are in too. Mikael Silvestre is available again too but he is not in the squad because he just came back yesterday."
