Gunners trio to miss out
13 Oct 2006 - 10:26:26
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger must plan for three matches in eight days without a trio of key players after Freddie Ljungberg, Emmanuel Eboue and Julio Baptista were ruled out through injury.
The Gunners face Watford on Saturday before heading to Russia for a midweek Champions League clash with CSKA Moscow.
Wenger's side then return to Premiership action on Sunday week against Reading, but following the international break, the injured trio are definitely out of action in the short term.
"At the moment we have three injuries," revealed Wenger. "They will be out for Saturday and Tuesday for sure.
"Freddie Ljungberg has a calf injury, Emmanuel Eboue has an injury to his medial knee ligaments. He will be out for three to four weeks.
"We have also lost Julio Baptista in training with a hamstring injury. He will be out for a while as well."
