Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is anxiously awaiting the results of tests on Gael Clichy's foot injury.
The 20-year-old left-back suffered a suspected broken foot playing for France Under-21s in the first leg of the European Championship qualification play-off against England last Friday.
Should the break be confirmed Clichy would face a substantial period on the sidelines, leaving Wenger with a major problem.
Clichy has been a fixture in the Arsenal first team in recent weeks because Ashley Cole is sidelined by a stress fracture to his foot.
With the versatile Justin Hoyte on loan at Sunderland, Wenger has few options to fill in at full-back and he could have to press either Kolo Toure or Pascal Cygan into service on the left.
