Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood says his club have rejected a transfer request from Ivory Coast international defender Kolo Toure.
The 27-year-old is a rumoured transfer target for cash-rich Manchester City, having lost his regular starting spot with the Gunners to Johan Djourou in recent weeks.
However, Hill-Wood says that the Gunners are in no mood to sell Toure in the January transfer window.
He told the Daily Star: "I know about it (the transfer request), but we are not going to accept it.
"We are not looking to let any of our players go and he is under contract and we expect him to honour it."
Toure moved to north London in February 2002 and has gone on to clock up around 300 appearances for Arsene Wenger's side.
