Gunners right to keep Cesc - Guardiola

arcelona coach Pep Guardiola is not too upset by Arsenal's refusal to sell Cesc Fabregas after admitting he would have taken the same stance.[LNB] Barca made two bids to sign the midfielder, but Fabregas announced on Friday that he was staying in north London.[LNB]Guardiola admits he would not have allowed Fabregas to leave if he was in Arsene Wenger's position but he is not too worried by his failure to land teh 23-year-old.[LNB]"I understand Arsenal and I understand Wenger, I wouldn't have let him leave either," he told reporters after Barca concluded their Asian tour with a 3-0 win over Beijing Guoan on Sunday.[LNB]"I just hope Cesc carries on enjoying what is such a special and competitive league, the Premier."[LNB]Guardiola insists the failure to sign Fabregas will not alter his plans for the coming season.[LNB]"I'm not worried about those that aren't here, it won't affect any of our plans," he said.[LNB]"The market is open until the end of the month and we will look to see what we can find, but there's no hurry. We have a great squad to compete in all competitions and that is our objective once more."[LNB]Sergi Roberto opened the scoring for the Spanish champions after 10 minutes against Beijing before Nolito made it 2-0 three minutes later.[LNB]Beijing had chances to score themselves, most notably through Australian brothers Joel and Ryan Griffiths, but Zlatan Ibrahimovic completed the scoring shortly before full time.[LNB]Lionel Messi, who scored twice in a 5-2 win over K-League All Stars in Seoul on Wednesday, twice hit the post in the first-half.[LNB]Barcelona had travelled to Asia with a squad made up largely of reserves and without any of their Spanish World Cup winners.
