Arsenal will be without midfielder Gilberto Silva for their FA Cup semi-final clash with
Manchester United, because of the Brazilian's international commitments.
The 27-year-old has been selected for Brazil's World Cup qualifier against Paraguay in Asuncion on March 31 and Gunners boss Arsene Wenger believes he will not be in a fit state to play three days later.
There was some good news for Wenger though, with Gilberto's in-form compatriot Edu again overlooked by Brazil boss Carlos Alberto Parreira.
"Gilberto will be out of the FA Cup semi-final, definitely," Wenger told the club's official website. "But Edu will be available.
"If we had not had so many games I would have wished he was selected but, for the club, it is very good news."
