relief: Zola celebrates the leveller against Arsenal[LNB]Matthew Upson insists the fighting qualities West Ham showed against Arsenal proves the players are right behind manager Gianfranco Zola.[LNB]The Hammers looked down and out losing 2-0 at half-time but Carlton Cole's header and Alessandro Diamanti's penalty earned a point at Upton Park.[LNB]Only Portsmouth sit below Zola's side in the table but Upson said: 'Everyone is behind the manager. We have been penalised for every mistake we have made this season and it has cost us. [LNB]'It was nice to get back in there against a class team like Arsenal - and we possibly could have won it.[LNB]'Criticism is going to come your way, especially as a manager, and I am sure he is used to dealing with it. We'll take the criticism on the chin, do something about it and come back in a positive way for him.'[LNB] [LNB] Job done: Upson (left) put in a fine shift against Arsenal and was full of praise for Green's late save which denied Robin van Perise (below)[LNB]A stunning late save from goalkeeper Robert Green prevented Arsenal winning and Upson is impressed by the way the England international has bounced back from his red card against Ukraine. [LNB]'It was really tough for him because he has waited a long time to get the England jersey, come in and had a disappointment,' the 30-year-old added in the Evening Standrad.[LNB]'That's what tests you and asks questions about your character but he answered them.'[LNB] [LNB] West Ham defender Calum Davenport on the mend after knife attackWest Ham 2 Arsenal 2: Late Alessandro Diamanti penalty denies Arsene Wenger a birthday win as Gunners throw away two-goal lead Gianfranco Zola keen for West Ham to continue chasing investmentWenger regrets that West Ham defender Upson didn't fulfill potential at ArsenalWEST HAM UNITED FC
