'Tony Gervaise is taking over,' Akers said. 'We took him on last year to run the academy with the plan being for him to take over from me at the end of the season. 'He's got a great staff around him and I'm sure he'll do well. I'll still be around anyway, if he needs me.' 'The girls did brilliantly all season, much better than anyone expected, because we lost so many players. I can't speak highly enough of them. They did the club proud.'
