So it turns out German TV are a bit more loose with their football commentary than we’re used to over here, as evidenced by Eurosport’s effort after Per Mertesacker’s goal on Saturday.
At 6ft 6 Mertesacker is taller than most other centre-backs in the league, and the Arsenal fans recognise that with one of their chants.
