Arsenal captain William Gallas doesn't believe Arsene Wenger will sign any new players during this month's transfer window.
The Gunners boss seldom uses the mid-season window to strengthen his squad as he prefers to conduct the majority of his transfer business during the summer months.
And with the north London club currently riding high at the top of the Premier league table, Gallas isn't anticipating a change in transfer policy this January despite the loss of three players - EmManUel Eboue, Alex Song and Kolo Toure - to African Cup of Nations duty.
"I don't really expect us to sign anyone. I think everything is fine," claimed Gallas.
"Perhaps if one player does leave then we have to buy, but if that is not the case then I think everything is okay as we are.
"Kolo is very important for the squad because he is very strong. He has good qualities and my relationship with him has been very good.
"But we have good players in the squad and someone else will be able to play.
"If you play for Arsenal you are very good and I hope my relationship with them will be good too."
