Arsenal defender William Gallas could be back in action in two weeks after scans revealed his thigh injury isn't as bad as was first suggested.
The France international damaged his thigh in training earlier in the week and was expected to be sidelined until the middle of December.
But manager Arsene Wenger is now hopeful the versatile defender could be back in time for the Gunners' vital Champions League clash with Porto on December 6.
"Gallas will not play against Fulham and Tottenham could be a bit premature - but he has a chance to be available for Porto," Wenger told Arsenal TV.
"At the moment we have Tomas Rosicky and Gallas both looking extremely good and close to coming back again.
"I do not think Rosicky is ready (for Bolton at the weekend) but he has a chance to be available for Fulham."
