Fran Merida rubbishes reports he's in talks about leaving Arsenal

Arsenal midfielder Fran Merida insists he has not held talks with any other club despite being strongly linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium.[LNB]Merida, 19, has made only 14 appearances for the Gunners since arriving in 2006 and has never started a Premier League game.[LNB]As he is in the final six months of his deal, Merida is free to listen to offers and there has been talk he was close to joining Atletico Madrid.[LNB] Kicking his heels: Merida (right) wants assurances he will play more[LNB]But he told the London Evening Standard: 'At the moment I am in talks with the boss.
