Forget Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Kaka and co - this World Cup has brought us a new generation of heroes - players who can actually cut it on the biggest stage. [LNB]Sportsmail takes a look at 10 World Cup stars who have shone in South Africa that we'd like to see week in, week out in the Premier League. [LNB]LUIS SUAREZ Granted, the Ajax skipper's reputation has been tarnished by his 'Hand of God' antics against Ghana, but there's no doubt his actions on the pitch have impressed.[LNB]The striker, 23, bagged 49 goals in 48 games for his club last season and has featured in all five of Uruguay's matches, netting a further three times.[LNB]PRICE: £30m [LNB]INTERESTED: Tottenham,Manchester United[LNB]KEISUKE HONDAA year ago Honda, 24, was turning out for Dutch minnows VVV Venlo but following his four games - and two goals - for Japan, he is now rated as one of the best midfielders in the world.[LNB]Arsene Wenger thinks so. He said: 'When they get that genius Honda playing up front, he has shown what a top class player he is. For me he's the best performer of the competition so far.'[LNB]PRICE: £20m [LNB]INTERESTED: Liverpool, Arsenal[LNB] Enlarge Enlarge  Double delight: Luis Suarez (left) has been shamed by his 'Hand of God' antics but Arsene Wenger rates Keisuke Honda as the best at the tournament    [LNB] [LNB]ROBERT VITTEK In Slovakia's first-ever World Cup finals, Vittek produced a huge shock by becoming the tournament's top scorer for a time and scoring the goals which knocked out holders Italy in the process. [LNB]Unwanted at his current club Lille and is unlikely to return to Ankaragucu in Turkey where he has been on loan. [LNB]A player in limbo who could be a real bargain. [LNB]PRICE: £7m[LNB]INTERESTED: Wolves, Wigan[LNB]ASAMOAH GYAN Don't let Gyan's penalty miss distract from what has been a wonderful tournament for the Stade Rennes forward. [LNB]He bagged 13 goals in the French top flight before heading to South Africa - and becoming a hero in his native Ghana. [LNB]A spot kick against Uruguay would have sent an African nation into the semi-finals for the first time - if he had scored it. [LNB]PRICE: £20m[LNB]INTERESTED: Everton, West Ham[LNB] Enlarge Enlarge  Record breakers: Robert Vittek (left) and Asamoah Gyan helped their countries to their best ever World Cup finish[LNB] [LNB]VINCENT ENYEAMA Not a stranger to the Premier League, Enyeama has been linked with a number of clubs in recent seasons. [LNB]Despite Nigeria enduring a disappointing tournament, the Hapoel Tel-Aviv goalkeeper, 27, actually enhanced his reputation, proving himself to be a very agile shot-stopper. [LNB]PRICE: £5m[LNB]INTERESTED: West Ham, Wigan [LNB]WESLEY SNEIJDER We saw plenty of Sneijder during last season's Champions League. Intrinsic in Inter Milan's victorious campaign, with man-of-the-match performances.[LNB]And the playmaker, 26, has picked with Holland up where he left the Nerazzurri - the creative hub of everything positive Holland are producing. [LNB]PRICE: £30m[LNB]INTERESTED: Manchester United[LNB] Enlarge Enlarge  Heading for England? Vincent Enyeama (left) and Wesley Sneijder are both being chased by Premier league clubs[LNB] [LNB]DIEGO FORLAN What a difference a few years makes. Forlan departed Manchester United in 2004 a flop. He managed just 17 goals in 98 appearances at Old Trafford and was sold to Villareal. [LNB]One of the most influential players of the tournament, Forlan, 31, has benefited from playing in the hole behind the strikers for Uruguay and impressed with his work-rate. He looks a perfect fit for the Premier League but intimated he won't return. [LNB]PRICE: £18m [LNB]INTERESTED: Tottenham[LNB]ELJERO ELIA Three years ago, Elia's career was stumbling, languishing on the bench, in the margins of the Dutch league with FC Twente.  [LNB]But his performances for Holland, albeit from the bench, mean his current club Hamburg have a huge star on their hands. [LNB]Still only 23, the dynamic winger has acquired a number of admirers with his pace and trickery during his time in South Africa.[LNB]PRICE: £22m[LNB]INTERESTED: Tottenham, West Ham[LNB] Enlarge Enlarge  Holding out: Diego Forlan (left) is unlikely to come back to the Premier League but Eljero Elia is available... at a price[LNB] [LNB]FABIO COENTRAO Cristiano Ronaldo and co stumbled into and out of the World Cup but where the Real Madrid star's reputation was anything but enhanced, Coentrao left South Africa as one of the best full backs at the tournament. [LNB]Comfortable at left-back or on the wing, the Benfica star has intimated he wants to depart Estadio da Luz, he said: 'If a bid is positive for the club, I will accept the exit.'[LNB]PRICE: £25m [LNB]INTERESTED: Manchester City, Chelsea[LNB]THOMAS MULLER Four goals in five games means Muller is wanted by every top club in the world and Bayern Munich have a job on their hands to convince their 20-year-old midfielder his future lies at the Allianz Arena. [LNB]Described as a 'phenomenon' by Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Muller has played a vital role in the Germans march to the semis and the four-goal destructions of England and Argentina. [LNB]PRICE: £40m[LNB]INTERESTED: Chelsea, Manchester City [LNB] Enlarge Enlarge  On their way?
