Facebook phenomenon to be used by PFA to help keep players out of strife

[LNB]Trouble starter: Facebook[LNB]The Professional Footballers' Association are hoping to create official fanpages on Facebook for every player in the country as a way of protecting theirmembers against the pitfalls of social media. [LNB]A number of high-profile players have found themselves in trouble with theirclubs after using social networking sites, most notably the likes of Liverpool'sRyan Babel, Hull's Jozy Altidore and Sunderland striker Darren Bent, who usedTwitter to vent his frustration over his protracted move from Tottenham. [LNB]Now the PFA have stepped in with a plan to create official pages for allprofessional players.
