Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas claims Barcelona's high-profile pursuit of him is not a distraction during the World Cup finals.
Fabregas is away in South Africa with Spain and insists he is not thinking about his club future.
Barcelona have already seen one bid for their former youth team star rebuffed by the Gunners but are believed to be preparing a fresh approach around the £30million mark.
Fabregas is reported to have told Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger of his desire to return to Barcelona following seven years in north London.
Speaking about the transfer saga, a focused Fabregas claimed: "I am isolated from it all and I am not thinking about anything else apart from the national team.
"I have come to play a World Cup, which is the best thing possible for a player, with the same excitement that I had at the World Cup in Germany when I was 19.
"I am hungry to do something important and the only thing I will do is always give everything, with a lot of desire and make sure the hunger and competitiveness are never lacking."
