Burnley beat Manchester United, Liverpool ran riot against Stoke and Tottenham stormed to the top of the Premier League. Six midweek games, 17 goals, and plenty of talking points - but still nobody can catch Cesc Fabregas.[LNB]The Arsenal skipper remains at the top of the points pile despite having played only one game - his midfield masterclass against Everton on the opening day.[LNB]Glen Johnson is the Spaniard's closest challenger after his scoring performance in Liverpool's 4-0 win over Stoke and the full back, along with team-mates Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres helped Sportsmail Online's deputy editor Mike Anstead climb to the top of our mini league.[LNB] Reds alert: Johnson got his season up and running at Anfield on Wednesday[LNB]Anstead said: 'I know there's a long way to go but it feels good to put Mike Breton in his place early doors after all his talk about topping the league after the first weekend.'[LNB]Anstead's Yellow Tickers top the table with 144 points, three ahead of Tom's Team (managed by Tom Derry).[LNB]Peter Carline is on 137, one ahead of Breton and this Fantasy Football pundit, who was more than happy with Jermain Defoe's 20-point haul for his hat-trick in Spurs' 5-1 victory at Hull.[LNB]Don't look now: Owen[LNB]But the Sportsmail team are a long way off the pace in the overall standings, with the business end of the table dominated by Burrows. Walter and Andrew occupy six of the top-10 places between them, with the former's  Collishaw18 blazing the trail on 283 points.[LNB]Looking ahead to the weekend, it will be interesting to see if Fabio Capello takes another look at Michael Owen.[LNB]The England manager watched Owen draw a blank at Turf Moor as Manchester United slipped up against Burnley and plenty at Sportsmail headquarters are ready to bin the ex-Newcastle striker.[LNB]But it's worth giving Owen time with Wigan up next before the mouth-watering clash with Arsenal at Old Trafford.[LNB]The Gunners take on Portsmouth on Saturday and anybody who selected Sylvain Distin on the expectation he would join a decent team may want to make a change.[LNB]But who would be a suitable replacement for the Pompey defender?
