Fabregas dismantles Rovers

Midfielder Cesc Fabregas produced a virtuoso display as Arsenal saw off the challenge of Blackburn at Emirates Stadium to win 6-2.[LNB]Steven Nzonzi had nodded Rovers ahead from Paul Robinson`s long free-kick in the fourth minute before Thomas Vermaelen smashed home an equaliser into the bottom corner with his left foot - his fifth goal of an impressive debut season.[LNB]David Dunn's deflected effort put the visitors back in front, but Robin van Persie`s low strike from Fabregas' defence-splitting pass and Andrey Arshavin`s angled drive from another Fabregas pass saw Arsenal lead 3-2 at the break.[LNB]Captain Fabregas got the goal his performance deserved just before the hour. Tomas Rosicky hooked a loose ball back along the edge of the Rovers penalty area, and it dropped just right for the Arsenal captain, who crashed a half-volley past Robinson.[LNB]The Spaniard then helped set up substitute Theo Walcott - making his return from injury - for a neat side-foot finish after 75 minutes and Nicklas Bendtner smashed in a sixth from 20 yards to complete the rout.
