FA dismiss Koscielny appeal

Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny will serve a two-match ban after his appeal against his sending off against Newcastle match was dismissed.[LNB] It means he will miss the away games against Wolves tomorrow and Everton on Sunday.[LNB]Koscielny was red carded after holding back Nile Ranger as Newcastle went on to win 1-0 at the Emirates Stadium thanks to a goal from Andy Carroll.[LNB]A summer signing from French club Lorient, Koscielny was sent off on his debut in the 1-1 draw against Liverpool.[LNB]In a statement the FA said: "At a regulatory commission hearing today, a claim for wrongful dismissal from Arsenal's Laurent Koscielny was dismissed.[LNB]"As a result, Koscielny will serve a two-match suspension with immediate effect as this was his second dismissal of the season.[LNB]"Koscielny was dismissed for denying an obvious goal scoring opportunity against Newcastle on 7 November."
