ESPN win race for Premier League mobile highlights rights

The UK mobile highlights rights for all 380 Premier League games have been won by ESPN, it was announced today.   [LNB]The Disney-owned broadcaster will be able to send clips of goals and highlights to mobile phones for the next three seasons, starting in August.   [LNB]ESPN already screen some live Premier League matches after they took over some of rights from collapsed TV station Setanta.  [LNB] Access: Fans will soon get Premier League mobile clips from ESPN[LNB] Premier League chief executive Richard Scudamore said: 'ESPN's purchase of Barclays Premier League mobile clip rights demonstrates their commitment to the competition and the fans.
