Emmanuel Adebayor must not lose it on fiery Arsenal return, warns Manchester City pal Kolo Toure

Kolo Toure has revealed that he has warned hothead Emmanuel Adebayor to cool it on his spicy return to Arsenal. Manchester City are at the Emirates on Saturday, with Adebayor guaranteed a hostile reception by the Gunners fans. Centre of attention: Kolo Toure with celebrating Emmanuel Adebayor Adebayor, who left Arsenal in a £25million switch last summer, was heavily criticised after his controversial celebration against Arsenal in the chaotic 4-2 victory at Eastlands earlier this season. After scoring in the match, the striker raced the length of the pitch to celebrate in front of the visiting fans. Sliding down on his knees, Adebayor's behaviour sparked furious scenes in the stands. The player received a suspended two-game ban and a £25,000 after the FA claimed he was 'provoked'. He was later handed a three-match suspension for stamping on former team-mate Robin van Persie in the same match. Anger: Arsenal fans were incensed by Adebayor's celebration Toure, who also left Arsenal for City in 2009, insists his team-mate must not lose his head again this time. 'I had a word with him, Patrick had a word with him as well,' Toure told Sky Sports News. 'The most important thing for him is to play and to give everything for our club Man City. 'I told him just to calm down and focus on the game because that's the most important. If we start to be emotional that's when we can drop some points. For us the most important thing is to win the game.' Warning: Kolo Toure City are desperate for victory in their battle to finish fourth and secure the final Champions League spot. Adebayor will be crucial to their chances of winning, although his will undoubtedly be booed - possibly along with Toure. He added: 'I have always had a great relationship with the (Arsenal) fans. Now I am in a new family and I think they are all fantastic. 'I think it is going to be a great, great day for all of us because we are all looking forward to going back and playing against our old  team. 'I think it is a great time to play against them because they have a few injured players and maybe we can come back with some points.'  Man City star Adebayor escapes new ban after FA say he was 'provoked'Young woman dies of DVT after medics fail to spot broken legManchester City 4 Arsenal 2: Shameful act!
