Emmanuel Adebayor wears Arsenal shirt in TV interview recalling Togo attack

The striker appeared on African TV yesterday, to discuss last Friday's gun attack on the Togo team in Angola, wearing an Arsenal shirt. [LNB]The Togo striker is still coming to terms with the attack in the Angolan enclave of Cabinda that left three dead. [LNB]Emmanuel Adebayor signs for first choice Manchester CityHowever, he could be available to play for Manchester City this weekend, if released by Togo. [LNB]Roberto Mancini has said he will give Adebayor as much time as he needs to recover from the trauma of the terrorist attack. [LNB]Fifa have said it is up to Togo to decide when their players can play for their clubs again. [LNB]Togo withdrew from the Africa Cup of Nations following the attack, but confusion has spread over whether they have now appealed to be allowed back in to the competition, although organisers say this cannot happen. [LNB]As such it is expected that Togo will release Adebayor to play for City shortly. [LNB]
