Arsenal striker Eduardo admits he has no idea when he will return to first-team action.
The Croatia international is currently recuperating after suffering a horrific leg and ankle break in the 2-2 draw at Birmingham City less than two weeks ago.
"I am walking on crutches but I am feeling well, there is no pain," Eduardo told Croatian daily Jutarnji List.
"Some say the recovery will take half a year, some say I'll be playing in nine months, others say 15 months.
"Euro 2008 would be too soon. Yes, I will play against England, but in the return game in September 2009."
Meanwhile, Gunners keeper ManUel Almunia has heaped praise on his team-mate Cesc Fabregas.
The Spanish midfielder scored the crucial opening goal in Tuesday's Champions League victory at AC Milan, and compatriot Almunia thinks he is currently one of the best players in Europe.
"Cesc is only 20 but he already plays like a veteran," he said. "We all believe in him and know he will become an Arsenal legend.
"He has the capacity, the skill and the quality to become as good a player as Kaka. But he also needs to win trophies to become a truly great player.
"When Cesc is given time, it gives him the opportunity and freedom to really enjoy himself."
