The Croatian has scored three times in two pre-season starts, with Wenger now confident that the damage to his leg and ankle has healed fully following a full pre-season. 'We have recovered Eduardo during pre-season," said Wenger. "There was a question mark about him, we don't have it any more. His second surgery was very, very positive and he is really the Eduardo who arrived here. We have a very strong squad if you look at the numbers and the quality.' There is also positive news regarding Samir Nasri, who broke his leg in a training ground accident in Austria but expects to begin physiotherapy by the beginning of September. "I am happy that it is just a fractured fibula,' he said. 'And it is better that it happened now rather than right in the middle of the season. So it is just a case of being patient. I have three weeks of immobility remaining before starting my physiotherapy in early September.' Arsenal are awaiting the draw for their Champions League qualifying tie on Friday and face Valencia on Saturday in their final friendly before starting the new season against Everton. Theo Walcott and Kieran Gibbs are both expected to feature against Valencia after missing part of pre-season following their summer involvement with the England Under-21 team that reached the final of the European Championships.
