Ivory Coast international Em
ManUel Eboue is the latest
Arsenal player to sign a long-term contract with the club.
The 23-year-old defender has enjoyed two successful full seasons with the Gunners, after making his first-team debut for Arsene Wenger's side in January 2005.
He moved to Arsenal from Belgian side Beveren and has gone on to score two goals in 71 appearances for the club.
Meanwhile, Wenger thinks his side can be genuine title contenders next term, so long as his key players stay fit.
Wenger has been forced to endure lengthy injury lists for much of the season with key players like Thierry Henry and Robin van Persie sidelined for extended spells.
He said: "I am looking [for new players], but I am also at the moment happy with the players I have and am also focused on developing the team I have. I feel the team is growing well.
"The biggest transfer I can make is to try to get everybody fit by the start of next season.
"If I manage that I have done 80 per cent of the job and I will be pleased, the other 20 per cent is optional - whether I buy or not.
"If I can just manage to do that 80 per cent, to get everybody in perfect shape for the start of the season, then I have done a good job."
