Emmanuel Eboue accepts his good friend Emmanuel Adebayor deserved a three-match ban for stamping on Robin van Persie.[LNB] Ivory Coast international Eboue was one of Adebayor's closest friends during their time at Emirates Stadium, but admits the events of last weekend at Eastlands left a sour taste.[LNB] "For me, personally, I don't know why he did what he did. I am very disappointed with his attitude to us and the supporters," Eboue told the London Evening Standard.[LNB] Togo international Adebayor, who joined Manchester City in the summer for £25million, admitted the charge of violent conduct brought against him by the Football Association for stamping on Robin van Persie, and so must sit out the derby with Manchester United on Sunday.[LNB] A separate charge of improper conduct, brought after the former Arsenal striker ran the length of the pitch to taunt Gunners fans with a goal celebration, will be considered at a later date.[LNB] "The FA have banned him and it is right because he is to blame," added Eboue.[LNB] "What he did is not good for football. He is my friend and he was my team-mate, but I am not happy he did that.[LNB] "Afterwards, we did not speak about the game, but I told him I was not happy with him. We have not spoken since."
