atasha Dowie's extra-time winner secured Everton their first FA Women's Cup triumph as they beat Arsenal 3-2 at the City Ground in Nottingham.[LNB] Dowie's 16th-minute strike had put Everton in front before Kim Little's penalty leveller. Everton grabbed the lead again before the break when Faye White headed into her own net.[LNB]Julie Fleeting forced extra-time when she equalised early in the second half, only for Dowie to score a minute from the end of the additional period to prevent the need for a penalty shoot-out.[LNB]With both sides flagging there was little goalmouth action in extra-time until Brooke Chaplen found Dowie in the area and the striker coolly converted.[LNB]
