Double boost for Gunners
09 Nov 2007 - 16:32:27
Arsenal have received a double injury boost with the news that Kolo Toure and Tomas Rosicky will return for Monday's trip to Reading.
Defender Toure and midfield playmaker Rosicky missed the midweek Champions League draw with Slavia Prague in the Czech Republic with minor knocks.
However, manager Arsene Wenger expects both to be fit for the visit to the Madejski Stadium.
However, Philippe Senderos (back) and Robin van Persie (knee) will play no part against the Royals.
Senderos has resumed training this week, while Dutch striker van Persie remains on course for a comeback against Wigan Athletic at the Emirates Stadium on November 24.
"It looks like Kolo and Tomas will recover," Wenger told Arsenal TV.
"Senderos will not be completely competitive for this game even though he is back in full training.
"So the only real injury in the squad is Robin van Persie."
