Digging in his Spurs: Comolli says he'll fight to stop Matuidi joining Arsenal

Former Arsenal scout Damien Comolli is determined to prevent his old club signing Blaise Matuidi. Arsene Wenger has identified the France Under 21 international as the perfect candidate to add bite to his flyweight midfield. But former Spurs sporting director Comolli, who now holds the same position at Matuidi's club Saint-Etienne, says the 22-year-old is not for sale. 'We want to keep Blaise Matuidi, as I said from the beginning, and he will stay,' Comolli told French newspaper Le Progres. 'Mouhamadou Dabo is a bit different. If there was an offer, he might go. But for now, there is still nothing.'
