Didier Drogba and Jens Lehmann at Oktoberfest
Published : 27 Sep 2011 07:57:11

He might be the man who will replace suspended Fernando Torres in the Chelsea attack. But Didier Drogba looked more interested in pulling on fancy dress on Sunday as he hit Oktoberfest in Munich. Party time: The Chelsea played joined revellers at the beer hall The Blues hitman flew out to Germany to attend the legendary beer festival, just hours after Torres was sent off in the 4-1 victory over Swansea. Despite again finding himself pivotal to Andre Villas-Boas' plans, Drogba decided to jet over to Munich for some old-fashioned fun. Remember me? Jens Lehmann shakes hands with Drogba Clearly warming to the celebrations, the Ivory Coast star pulled on the traditional lederhosen outfit before heading to one of the many huge beer halls. And the bizarre events didn't end there, as Drogba was then pictured shaking hands with his old foe Jens Lehmann. The pair had a famous scuffle at Stamford Bridge back in 2007 when Lehmann was in playing in goal for the Gunners - watch the video below... After Drogba fell down like a sack of potatoes at the merest hint of a shrove from Lehmann, the German - known for his sense of humour - then repeated the trick when Drogba delivered his only slight tap. But it looked like that was all water under the bridge as they chatted away among the crowd of thirsty punters.
