Peter Crouch feels avoiding defeat in Saturday's north London derby will prove Spurs can have a "proper impact" on the league this season.[LNB] Spurs got their stuttering domestic campaign back on track at the weekend by beating Blackburn 4-2 but know failure to take something from arch-rivals Arsenal could see them end up six points adrift of the top four by Sunday.[LNB]Striker Crouch told Sky Sports: "We are looking forward to the game at Arsenal. We are not there yet, but we are certainly a lot closer to them than we have been for a long time.[LNB]"They are a top-quality side with a lot of young players. We changed our side around in the Carling Cup when Arsenal won 4-1 but they were fantastic.[LNB]"We know that they are a great side but I believe that, on our day, we can beat anyone.[LNB]"If you really want to have a proper impact on the league, you have to go to places like Arsenal and pick up points. We have a lot of talent to do that."
