Clichy agent cools Juve link

Gael Clichy's agent insists the Arsenal left-back is not eyeing a move to Italy amid reports he could be a target for Serie A giants Juventus.[LNB] The France international has been linked with a move to Turin having helped the Gunners make a positive start to the Premier League season.[LNB]And while the 25-year-old would consider a move to Italy in the future, his agent Ivan Le Mee claims he has no wish to leave the Gunners right now.[LNB]"His relationship with Arsenal and Wenger are great," Le Mee told calciomercato.com.[LNB]"I don't understand where all these rumours have come from.[LNB]"Also, his contract expires in June 2012 so it wouldn't make sense to force the issue now.[LNB]"Gael is doing very well, playing for his national team and in the Premier League he's now a certain starter.[LNB]"There will be time for him to go to Italy."[LNB]Clichy joined Arsenal in 2003 after making just 15 appearances for Cannes and has been first-choice left-back since Ashley Cole left for Chelsea in the summer of 2006.[LNB]He has now racked up 236 appearances for the north London giants, scoring just once, while making eight international appearances for France.
